served as a Medic in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1977 and has
received numerous Honors and Awards in both military and civilian
practice. He is a member of the
Chiropractic Society, and a board member and past President of the North
Shore Chiropractic Society. Also a member of the International Chiropractic
Association, he has been a tireless supporter of the national, state and local
societies. Dr Mike served as a member of the Salem Board of Health. He is graduate of Salem High School and a long time resident of
Salem where he lives with his wife and two children. Dr. Mike has been practicing at his Essex Street office since 1986.
Dr. Jeremian J. DiRuzzo
Dr Di Ruzzo joined our staff in February 2014. He is a graduate of the University of
Bridgeport College of Chiropractic where he received his degree as Doctor of Chiropractic. He also received his Bachelors of Science in Human Biology from the University at Albany. Dr. DiRuzzo has been a licensed Chiropractor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2007. He is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Techniques (IASTM), Graston Technique, Casting Orthotics, and Certified First Responder (CPR). Dr. DiRuzzo specializes in sports injuries which include rehabilitative exercises, neuro-muscular re-education and myofascial/soft tissue release techniques.
Dr. DiRuzzo is an athlete himself and active in mixed martial arts as well and power lifting. Having competed in both sports on a regional and national level, he has won various accolades in Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, kick boxing and strongman competitions. He has trained and treated many amateur and professional athletes.
